Hinton Battle

Hinton Battle won Three Tony Awards for: Miss Saigon, Sophisticated Ladies and The Tap Dance Kid. His broadway Credits Include: The Wiz, Dreamgirls, Bob Fosse’s Dancin’, Sophisticated Ladies, Ragtime, Miss Saigon, The Tap Dance Kid…And Chicago. He was also the Associate Choreographer to Debbie Allen on the 65th and 66th Academy Awards.

Hinton’s television appearences include The Shirley Temple Story for ABC, as the legendary Bill “Bojangles” Robinson; appeared in These Old Broads, Foreign Student, Touched By An Angel, was the dancing demon “Sweet” in the musical episode of the hit television series, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, played Wayne opposite Jamie Fox in the film adaptation of Dreamgirls and Smash on ABC.
