Patrick Daniel Smith

With his rangy voice and versatile looks, Patrick has had the privilege to play a wide array of roles through his 10 years in the dramatic arts, including episodes of Law And Order: SVU, HBO’s Gamechange, and Hulu’s Shinobi Girl.

A true veteran of the stage, Patrick’s credits span over 30 plays in New York, Chicago, and DC. His short film work comprises a myriad of festival selections as well as industrial films for the Department of Defense, the US Army, and the Kansas National Guard.

Patrick accredits the maturation of his craft to The Actor’s Conservatory in New York, specifically the magnificent Lilly Lodge, and the late Al Freeman, Jr. in Washington DC (thanks for taking a chance on me, Freeman. Forever in your debt.) His non-craft development may be accredited to The University of Illinois (BA) and Johns Hopkins (MA). His personal maturation is currently in development.

Despite his strong respect for scripted performance, Patrick has a great passion for improv comedy, and is a performer and host for New York City’s Improvisation News. He is also an alumni performer at DC Improv and The PIT. An avid athlete, Patrick enjoys all skate-less sports and is almost certain the St. Louis Cardinals will call him for a tryout any day now. He is amused by the mundane, prone to cathartic expressions of indifference, and was never an operative for the NCS.
