Gordon attended Rhode Island Junior College where a production he was in as the warden in the play Getting Out by Marsha Norman competed at the American College of Theatre Festival. After completing his AFA he transferred to Rhode Island College where he landed a talent scholarship and a nomination for the Irene Ryan Competition for his zany portrayal as Trivelin in the play Have You Anything to Declare.

Since moving to NYC Gordon has worked as an actor for several NY based television shows, Law and Order, One Life To Live, All My Children, SNL, and Caroline’s Comedy Hour. He has done stand in work for directors Sidney Lumet and Garry Marshall. In production he worked for Tribeca Films on A Bronx Tale, and Disneys’ Dead Presidents. Gordon took a break from show business to help and build business with long time friend Chris Mazzilli, owner of several NYC venues including the famed Gotham Comedy Club in Chelsea. Gordon’s lifetime experience in the food and beverage industry where he has designed Bars and restaurant spaces for family and friends has earned him a judge’s seat at the NY Bar Show when scheduling allows. Gordon continues to work for Gotham Comedy Club and is grateful of having the best comedy club in the country as his anchored employer.

When he returned back to show business, he was cast in the Off Broadway show The Lady Swims Today, acting alongside Soprano’s Robert Funaro. Back in the loop of NY’s talent pool, Gordon thrives to be part of a winning production team where he can contribute his talent and energy. Gordon has several projects in varying levels of production. One is Bite the Bullet, a firsthand story about the journey of a double knee replacement, where and who is the God in all of it? First performance in and around December 2011. Another is a Comedy Game Show in pre-production.
