Coleman Cummings

Coleman’s career is just beginning as a professional Actor and Singer. His love for singing and performing began when he was very young. He discovered musical theater through Village Theater’s KIDSTAGE program where he performed in his first musical as Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. He fell in love with the art and has pursued this genre ever since. After completing his freshman year at Pacific Lutheran University, Coleman, age nineteen made the decision to pursue his dreams of performing and moved to New York City.

After being educated at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC he continued his studies at The New School earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater. Upon graduating Coleman had his breakout role as Roger in the National Tour of the Broadway hit Rent. The experience was invaluable for which Coleman is so proud and grateful to have been a part of.

Coleman maintains a very close relationship with his family to whom he is so very grateful for their unconditional love and support. Due to his healthy, well-rounded upbringing he is conscientious in all aspects of his life. He has become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and enjoys helping others to understand the holistic benefits of a healthy lifestyle; physically, emotionally, and intellectually. This is similar to how his musical theater performances help audiences to relate to life experiences; its emotions, and opportunities for learning and growth. Industry Link
